What is a Sample Box?
A Sample Box is a goodie box filled with samples, coupons, gift certificates and free business related gifts provided by awesome businesses, just like yours.

Who can participate?
All online businesses related to beauty or fashion that sell to the US & Canada can participate in our Box. You do not need to be a part of a major company.

How will this benefit my business?
The Box will benefit your business by putting your products directly into the hands of eager consumers who want them. We offer very specific products and samples and are marketed solely to beauty loving women and the men who love them.

Plus, many of MPPB's customers own popular beauty blogs and sites where they review the contents of the box each month, offering many chances for secondary advertisement.

Where do you advertise?
Besides social sites like FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, and YouTube, we also advertise on various beauty and mom related websites & forums across the web. Yes, we do enjoy free places to advertise, but each month we also use paid-for banner and link advertisements.

How much does it cost to participate?
There is no cost to include you in our boxes. You decide how many samples you want to send. The more samples you send in, the more exposure your business will get.

Do you accept samples only?
No! We also accept small, full size products or gift certificates from your business.

How many should I send? / Is there a minimum?
Our minimum request is 25 sample bundles. You may submit up to 250, or whatever amount in that range is comfortable for you. Your choice.

How should my samples be packed?
Tastefully! Whatever is cost effective for you (cello bags, organza bags, etc.). Please include your business information with the sample. The consumers need to know where to go to make a purchase!

Are there any packaging requirements?
Yes, anything that is applied to the skin needs to have properly labeled ingredients. Some consumers might have allergies. Also, anything that can be dangerous (like candles, etc...) needs to have a warning label for your protection and for your customers protection. If your item is liquid, please make sure it is properly sealed in case of leakage.
Please Note: We reserve the right to not include any samples that are not labeled correctly or are improperly or poorly packaged.

Will I receive a free box for participating?
You will receive a complimentary box if:
a. You gift us with at least 50 full size products/bundles for the Box OR
b. At least 85 sample bundles AND
c. You request one BEFORE the day they go on sale.

(Valid only for the month you are participating.)

How can I become Top Sponsor?
The Top Sponsor position is changed monthly and must be requested. To be a Top Sponsor, please provide at least 75 full size products for the Box. (If you cannot provide full size, please let me know your product specs.) These must be small enough to fit the box, for example, lip glosses or individual eye shadows. There is only a maximum of 3 Top Sponsor positions per month.

What else do I need to participate?
You will need to supply a 475 x 90 pixel banner to add to our "Who's in" section. If you would like us to create one for you, the cost is $10.
